Modern Slavery Statement – GGMR Ltd (GG Media Resources Ltd)

GGMR Ltd (GG Media Resources Ltd) is committed to combating modern slavery and human trafficking within its operations and supply chains. This statement outlines our approach to addressing these issues, as required under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.  

  1. Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking 

We have established comprehensive policies to prevent slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains. These policies encompass:  

  • A zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking.  
  • Ethical sourcing practices.  
  • Strict adherence to labour laws and regulations.  
  • Protection of vulnerable workers.  
  • Regular review and updates of policies to reflect best practices.  
  1. Due Diligence Processes 

We conduct due diligence processes to identify and mitigate risks of slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. This includes:  

  • Assessing the compliance of our suppliers with our policies and the Modern Slavery Act.  
  • Collaborating with suppliers to address potential risks.  
  • Regularly reviewing and auditing our supply chain for compliance.  
  1. Risk Assessment and Risk Management 

GGMR acknowledges the potential risks in its supply chain and has taken the following steps:  

  • Identifying high-risk areas within our supply chain.  
  • Implementing risk mitigation strategies.  
  • Collaborating with suppliers to address and reduce risks.  
  1. Effectiveness Assessment 

We regularly assess the effectiveness of our measures to prevent slavery and human trafficking. This includes:  

  • Continuous monitoring and evaluation of our supply chain.  
  • Gathering feedback from stakeholders.  
  • Reviewing and updating our policies and procedures as needed.  

 

  1. 6. Employee Training 

We provide comprehensive training on slavery and human trafficking to all employees involved in our supply chain. This training equips them with the knowledge and tools necessary to identify and report potential issues.  

Additional Action Points  

In addition to our annual statement, GGMR is committed to the following actions:  

  • Integrating slavery and human trafficking considerations into our corporate social responsibility approach.  
  • Providing a whistleblowing procedure for reporting concerns related to slavery or human trafficking.  
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with the National Minimum Wage and UK right to work laws.  
  • Including obligations related to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 in all commercial agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.  
  • Appointing George Gill as the designated individual responsible for overseeing compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.  
  • Identifying and addressing areas of high risk within our supply chain.  
  • Providing ongoing training to employees involved in the supply chain on issues related to slavery and human trafficking.  

This statement reflects GGMR’s commitment to eradicating slavery and human trafficking from our operations and supply chains. We will continue to review and enhance our efforts in line with best practices and legal requirements.
